Members of Maple Leaf Angels enjoy the following benefits:
Investment events – Invitation to nine Maple Leaf Angels investment breakfasts per year, as well as our annual summer dinner
Social events – Invitation to various Maple Leaf Angels social and networking events
Deal-flow – Investment opportunities among up to 30 high-quality, pre-screened companies annually
Follow-on financings – Regular updates on Maple Leaf Angel portfolio companies and opportunities to participate in follow-on financings
Angelsoft – Access to our on-line repository of company information and due diligence materials on Angelsoft
Education – The opportunity to learn more about angel investing
Networking – Interact with peer angel investors and other contacts in the early-stage enterprise ecosystem
Our group owes its success to the active participation of our members. Our guidelines for membership are:
Annual Investment requested of members – $25,000 each year
Events – Attendance at two-thirds of our investment breakfasts / events
Due dilligence – Participation in due diligence research sessions including accessing your own personal networks for relevant expertise and contacts
Deal flow – Referral of high-calibre companies for presentation to our membership (historically, our best opportunities have been referred by group members)
Membership is open only to accredited investors. Membership fees for individual angels are $750 annually. The event fee for each breakfast event is $45, however a full season of event fees can be pre-paid for $300.
